| Aurora POPE Limited Edition Fountain Pen Ref: 351 A mixture of sentiments ranging from peace and brotherhood to knowledge of art and culture is the inspiration behind the grandeur of Aurora's new jeweled writing instrument, The Pope LE. The body of variegated marble-coloured auroraloid evokes imagery of the columns in St. Peter's Square. The gold-plated cap bears two papal coats of arms: one, an eagle, is the first symbol used by Pope Innocent III (1198-1216), the other is a cross and "M" (for Mary), to symbolize Pope John Paul II. The instrument is further enhanced with a precious curved clip, a cap ring engraved with XXV I. Paulus II, and a gold-plated grip. Produced in a limited edition of 1919 numbered fountain pens with 18k nib and piston filler, and 499 rollerballs, The Pope is finished with a cabochon-cut white agate set into the cap.
